View capacity storage group demand details
The Storage Group Demand report provides information about storage group capacity usage and identifies sources of unreducible data.

Steps

Select a storage system running
PowerMaxOS 10 (6079).
The system health dashboard is displayed by default.
- Click Capacity and select the system or an SRP instance.
- Click the Provisioned bar chart to view the provisioned capacity details page or click the Effective bar chart to view the effective capacity details page.
- Click the Storage groups link in the text next to the chart.

View the Capacity Storage Group Demand report that has the following properties:
- Storage Group—The storage group identifier. Click the storage group identifier to view the storage group details (see View storage group details).
- User-Created Object—The names of the storage resource and file system objects. This column is visible only for systems with vVol capacity. To view the storage resource list view filtered for that storage resource, click the storage resource name.
- Provisioned (GB)—The total amount of provisioned capacity
- Total Effective Used (GB)—The total amount of effective capacity used
- Total Physical Used (GB)—The total amount of physical capacity used
- Snap Effective Used (GB)—The amount of effective capacity used by snapshots
- Snap Physical Used (GB)—The amount of physical capacity used by snapshots
- Data Reduction—Indication if data reduction is enabled or disabled (not displayed by default).
- Total Data Reduction Ratio—The total data reduction ratio (not displayed by default)
- Data Reduction Ratio—Data reduction ratio (not displayed by default)
- Snap DRR—Snapshot Data Reduction Ratio (DRR) (not displayed by default)
- User Data (GB)—The amount of user data (not displayed by default)
- Unreducible Data (GB)—The amount of unreducible data (not displayed by default)
- Snap Unreducible Capacity (GB)—Snapshot unreducible capacity (not displayed by default)
